Defect
Due to insufficient work instructions during manufacturing, the insulation treatment on the terminals of the power harness for the engine oil preheating system was not properly applied on some vehicles. Heat generated during electrical operation causes the insulating material to carbonize, leading to dielectric breakdown. In the worst case, a short circuit may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Replace the affected harness on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
エンジンオイルの予熱装置用電源ハーネスにおいて、作業指示が不十分だったため、端子の絶縁処理が適切に行われていないものがある。そのため、通電時の発熱により絶縁処理に使用した素材が炭化することで絶縁破壊が起こり、最悪の場合、短絡による火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ハーネスを良品に交換する。
