Defect
Some supply pumps supplied as replacement service parts were manufactured using an improper surface treatment process, resulting in insufficient part strength. Repeated high-load operation may cause a crack to develop in the pump, leading to a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the supply pump with a conforming part.

状況
交換修理用部品のサプライポンプにおいて、表面処理工程が不適切なため、部品強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、高負荷運転の繰り返しにより亀裂が生じ、燃料漏れに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
