Defect
On large trucks, the paint film thickness at the bolt-fastening area of the exhaust pipe mounting bracket is inadequate. Heat from the engine causes the paint film to thin, allowing the mounting bolts to loosen. Continued use in this condition may cause the bracket to detach and fall onto the roadway, creating a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected bracket with a corrected part.

状況
大型トラックの排気管固定用ブラケットにおいて、取付けボルト締結部の塗装膜厚が不適切なため、エンジンからの熱により膜厚が薄くなり、当該ボルトが緩むことがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、ブラケットが脱落し他の交通を妨げるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品に交換する。
