Issue
In the driver assistance system of heavy-duty trucks, the vehicle control ECU contains an incorrect program that prevents braking force from being maintained when the Driver Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS) activates and brings the vehicle to a stop. If the system activates and the vehicle stops on a slope or incline, the vehicle may begin to roll.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the vehicle control ECU with the corrected/updated software.

状況
大型トラックの運転支援装置において、車両制御ＥＣＵのプログラムが不適切なため、ドライバー異常時対応システム（ＥＤＳＳ）が作動し停車した際に制動力が保持されない。そのため、当該システムが作動し坂路等で停車した場合、車両が動き出すおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車両制御ＥＣＵのプログラムを対策プログラムへ書き換える。
