Defect
On large touring buses, the retarder hoses and radiator hoses are improperly reinforced, resulting in insufficient adhesion between the reinforcing yarn and the base rubber. Pressure fluctuations in the coolant cause the reinforcing yarn to wear and fracture, damaging the hose and allowing coolant to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the retarder hoses and radiator hoses with corrected parts.

状況
大型観光バスのリターダーホースおよびラジエーターホースにおいて、補強方法が不適切なため、補強糸と母材ゴムの密着力が不足しているものがある。そのため、ホース内冷却水の圧力変動によって補強糸が摩耗して破断すると、当該ホースが破損して冷却水が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リターダーホースとラジエーターホースを対策品に交換する。
