Defect
On light-duty trucks equipped with an automatic transmission, the engine speed sensor wiring is routed and secured at an improper position on some vehicles. Continued use can cause a broken wire in the sensor wiring, stalling the engine and preventing restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the engine speed sensor with a new one and reposition the sensor wiring to the correct secured location.

状況
オートマチックトランスミッションを搭載した小型トラックにおいて、エンジン回転センサーの配線固定位置が不適切なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該センサーの配線が断線するため、エンジンが停止し、再始動不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
