Defect
Improper machining of the aluminum wheel mounting surface leaves the seating depth undersized on some wheels, causing the hub nut to bottom out before achieving proper clamping force. Continued driving under these conditions produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, may result in wheel and tire separation from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the aluminum wheel serial number. On affected wheels, measure the mounting surface dimensions. Wheels found to be undersized must be replaced with conforming parts, and the brake disc, hub bolts, and hub nuts must be replaced with new parts.

状況
アルミホイール取付部において、ホイールの加工が不適切なため、締付面の寸法が不足してハブナットが底突きし、締結力が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で走行を続けると、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、タイヤが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アルミホイールの製造番号を点検し、該当する場合はホイールの取付部を確認して、寸法が不足しているものは当該ホイールを良品に、ブレーキディスク、ハブボルトおよびハブナットを新品に交換する。
