Defect
An error in the lighting control program settings in the light control computer causes the side marker lamps to malfunction when the turn signal or hazard warning lamps are operated, rather than operating in synchronization with other lights as designed. As a result, the vehicle does not conform to Safety Standards Article 34 governing side marker lamp requirements.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the headlamp assembly with a unit containing the light control computer reprogrammed to the corrected specification.

状況
ライトコントロールコンピュータにおいて、点灯制御プログラムの設定を誤ったため、車幅灯が他の灯火器と同期して点灯・消灯すべきところ、方向指示器または非常点滅表示灯を操作した場合、正しく作動しないことがある。そのため、保安基準第３４条（車幅灯の基準）に適合しない。
改善措置
全車両、ライトコントロールコンピュータのプログラムを対策仕様に修正した前照灯に交換する。
