Defect
In the automated mechanical transmission (AGS), an improper brush material in the oil pump drive motor may cause the brush to swell under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions, resulting in poor sliding contact. Continued use may cause the brush to seize, preventing the motor from operating due to insufficient electrical conduction. In the worst case, a warning light illuminates and the vehicle loses gear-shift function and becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the actuator. Where the actuator is the affected part, replace the oil pump drive motor with the corrected/revised part.

状況
（３）機械式自動変速機（ＡＧＳ）において、オイルポンプ駆動用モータのブラシ材質が不適切なため、高温、高湿条件においてブラシが膨張し、摺動不良となるものがある。そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、ブラシが固着してモータが通電不良により作動しなくなり、警告灯が点灯するとともに変速不能及び走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクチュエータを点検し、該当アクチュエータの場合は、 （３）オイルポンプ駆動用モータを対策品に交換する。
