Defect

The automatic transmission oil strainer has insufficient capacity, causing it to become clogged with clutch wear debris and reducing hydraulic pressure. Continued operation in this condition may render the vehicle inoperable. Additionally, hydraulic pressure fluctuations may damage the bracket on the shift solenoid (No. 1) inside the automatic transmission, reducing hydraulic pressure to the front clutch and causing poor acceleration or loss of reverse gear.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the oil strainer with a corrected part of increased capacity and add a reinforcement bracket.

状況

自動変速機のオイルストレーナの容量が不足しているため、クラッチ摩耗粉によりオイルストレーナが目詰まりし、作動油圧が不足することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行不能となるおそれがある。または、作動油圧変動が大きくなり自動変速機内シフトソレノイド(No.1)のブラケットが破損し、フロントクラッチの作動油圧が不足して加速不良や後退不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、オイルストレーナを容量アップした対策品と交換するとともに、補強ブラケットを追加する。
