Defect

On vehicles equipped with a manually adjustable low-beam headlamp aiming device, the beam axis was adjusted and inspected at an incorrect aiming position during production. As a result, the headlamp beam axis may not comply with the Safety Standards.

Corrective action

状況

手動式の前照灯照射方向調節装置付きのすれ違い用前照灯において、不適切な調節位置で光軸の調整、検査を行ったものがある。そのため、光軸が保安基準を満足していないおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、前照灯の光軸を点検し、調整が必要な場合は光軸調整を行う。
