Defect
At the joint between the oil pump and the oil pump drive motor of the automated mechanical transmission (AGS), an inadequate ventilation structure allows oil that seeps from the pump to migrate into the motor along with air. Continued use may cause a short circuit inside the motor, disabling it, illuminating a warning light, and resulting in loss of gear-shift function and the vehicle becoming inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the actuator. Where the actuator is the affected part, replace the oil pump and oil pump drive motor with corrected/revised parts.

状況
(2)機械式自動変速機(AGS)のオイルポンプとオイルポンプ駆動用モータのジョイント部において、外部との通気構造が不適切であったため、オイルポンプからオイルが滲んだ場合、オイルが空気と共に、モータ側に浸入することがある。そのままの状態で使用を続けると、モータ内部が短絡して作動しなくなり、警告灯が点灯するとともに変速不能及び走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクチュエータを点検し、該当アクチュエータの場合は、 (2)オイルポンプとオイルポンプ駆動用モータを対策品に交換する。
