Defect
The engine controller contains an integrated circuit (IC) that was manufactured under inadequate process controls. During service, an internal broken wire may develop within the IC, causing the engine to fail to start or to stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the manufacturing lot number of the engine controller is verified. Controllers identified as affected are replaced with known-good units.

エンジンコントローラにおいて、ＩＣ（集積回路）の製造管理が不適切なため、使用過程においてＩＣ内部で断線し、エンジン始動不能や走行中にエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジンコントローラの製造ロット番号を確認し、該当するものはエンジンコントローラを良品と交換する。
