Defect
In medium trucks, an improperly designed rear suspension allows the rear brake chamber to contact the frame when passing over road irregularities. In the worst case, this contact may damage the brake chamber, reducing braking force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete rear brake assembly and rear leaf spring bracket with corrected/revised parts. Associated components will also be replaced or modified as required.

状況
中型トラックにおいて、リヤサスペンションの設計が不適切なため、段差通過時等に後輪のブレーキチャンバーとフレームが干渉し、最悪の場合、当該ブレーキチャンバーが破損して制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リヤブレーキ一式およびリヤリーフスプリングブラケットを対策品に交換する。これに伴い、関連部品についても交換等を行う。
