Defect
During assembly, the brake pipes on the flywheel housing side of these heavy-duty trucks were deformed, causing some pipes to contact the adjacent transmission shift rod. Continued operation in this condition can damage the brake pipes, and in the worst case, brake fluid may leak, reducing braking force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the brake pipe and the shift rod. If clearance is insufficient, reposition the pipe to restore adequate clearance. If the brake pipe is damaged, replace it with a new part.

状況
大型トラックのフライホイールハウジング側方のブレーキパイプを変形させて組付けたため、当該パイプが近傍にある変速機用の変速ロッドと干渉するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ブレーキパイプが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキ液が漏れ、制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該隙間を点検し、隙間が少ない場合は、隙間を確保する。 なお、ブレーキパイプが損傷している場合には、新品と交換する。
