Issue
On rotating-body refuse collection trucks, incorrect center-of-gravity position and volume data were used when preparing the new-vehicle inspection declaration, resulting in errors in the declared values. As a consequence, some vehicles were found to have incorrect load center-of-gravity position nameplates affixed. This discrepancy may cause confusion during periodic roadworthiness inspections of in-service vehicles.
Corrective action
Replace the load center-of-gravity position nameplate with one bearing correctly calculated values. (Identification method exists.)
