Defect
On light trucks equipped with an Easy Access system and an AMT (automated mechanical transmission), the Easy Access system wiring is improperly routed and may contact the DC/DC converter bracket. This contact may cause a short circuit in the wiring. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving or fail to start after the ignition is switched off.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, secure the Easy Access system wiring to the body harness using plastic cable ties. Additionally, inspect the wiring; if damage to the wire insulation caused by contact with the DC/DC converter bracket is found, repair the wiring.

状況
イージーアクセスシステムを搭載したAMT(機械式自動変速機)の小型トラックにおいて、イージーアクセスシステム用配線の配索が不適切なため、DC/DCコンバーター用ブラケットと干渉するものがある。そのため、当該配線が短絡し、最悪の場合、走行中のエンストやキーオフ後のエンジン始動不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、イージーアクセスシステム用の配線を樹脂製結束バンドでボディーハーネスに固定する。また、当該配線を点検し、電線被膜にDC/DCコンバーター用ブラケットとの干渉による損傷が認められた場合は補修する。
