Defect
The tightening torque specification for the change pivot bolt that attaches the gear change pedal to the vehicle body was set incorrectly. Performing a forceful upshift operation may cause the bolt to loosen. Continued use in this condition may result in the bolt fracturing and the gear change pedal detaching, making gear changes impossible.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the change pivot bolt with a new one, apply a thread-locking compound to the threads, and tighten to the specified torque.

状況
ギヤチェンジペダルにおいて、当該ペダルを車体へ取り付けるチェンジピボットボルトの締付けトルク設定が不適切なため、強いシフトアップの変速操作をすると、当該ボルトが緩むことがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ボルトが折損し、ギヤチェンジペダルが外れ、変速できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、チェンジピボットボルトを新品に交換し、ねじ部に緩み防止剤を塗布して規定トルクで締め付ける。
