Defect
On route buses, the method of securing the air cylinder bracket and the rotating shaft that operates the glide-slide door is improperly designed, causing cracks to develop in the retaining spring pins. Continued use may cause the spring pins to fracture. In the worst case, if both spring pins fracture, the door may open while the vehicle is in motion or the driver may lose the ability to operate the door from the driver's seat.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the complete door rotation mechanism assembly is replaced with a corrected part.

状況
路線バスのグライドスライド扉において、扉開閉用エアシリンダーのブラケットと扉を開閉させる回転軸の固定方法が不適切なため、固定しているスプリングピンに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、スプリングピンが折損し、最悪の場合、スプリングピンが2本ともに折損することで、走行中に扉が開く、または、運転者席からの扉の開閉操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、扉回転機構一式を対策品に交換する。
