Defect
On medium-duty trucks whose parking/clearance lamp, license plate lamp, and tail lamp (collectively, the marker lamps) lighting circuit was redesigned, the circuit design applied to that modification is incorrect. As a result, when the automatic headlight function activates the headlamps, the marker lamps do not illuminate. This condition does not conform to Safety Standards Article 34 (clearance lamp requirements) and related provisions.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, correct the marker lamp lighting circuit.
