Defect
The power switch on the beacon amplifier of emergency vehicles is improperly designed. When the switch is pressed, it may remain depressed and fail to return to its original position. As a result, the beacon amplifier does not activate, and the warning lights cannot illuminate and the siren cannot sound.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the beacon amplifier serial number. If the affected unit is installed, replace the beacon amplifier with the corrected part.

状況
緊急自動車のサイレンアンプの電源スイッチの構造が不適切なため、電源スイッチ操作時に、当該スイッチが押し込まれた状態から戻らないものがある。そのため、サイレンアンプが作動せず、警光灯の点灯及びサイレンの吹鳴ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サイレンアンプの製造番号を確認し、該当製品が装着されている場合は、サイレンアンプを対策品に交換する。
