Defect
The seal design at the fuel pump mounting area is inadequate, allowing the O-ring to twist during fuel pump installation. Fluctuations in fuel tank internal pressure may then compromise the seal integrity and, in the worst case, cause a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the O-ring at the fuel pump mounting area and the fuel tank vessel with the corrected parts.

状況
燃料ポンプ取付部のシール構造が不適切なため、燃料ポンプ組付時にOリングがねじれることがある。そのため、燃料タンクの内圧変動等によりシール性が損なわれ、最悪の場合、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ポンプ取付部のOリング及び燃料タンクのベセルを対策品に交換する。
