Defect
In the automated gear shift (AGS) transmission, the brush material used in the oil pump drive motor is incorrect. Under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions, the brush may swell and cause sliding failure. Continued operation in this condition may cause the brush to seize, leading to a motor electrical fault and loss of motor operation. A warning light will illuminate, and the transmission may become unable to shift, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the actuator. If the actuator is of the affected type, replace the oil pump drive motor with the corrected part.

状況
機械式自動変速機（ＡＧＳ）において、オイルポンプ駆動用モータのブラシ材質が不適切なため、高温、高湿条件においてブラシが膨張し、摺動不良となるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、ブラシが固着してモータが導通不良により作動しなくなり、警告灯が点灯するとともに変速不能及び走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクチュエータを点検し、該当アクチュエータの場合は、オイルポンプ駆動用モータを対策品に交換する。
