Defect
The seal design at the fuel pump mounting is inadequate, allowing the O-ring to twist during fuel pump assembly. Fluctuations in fuel tank internal pressure can compromise the seal. In the worst case, fuel may leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the O-ring at the fuel pump mounting and the fuel tank vessel with corrected parts.

状況
燃料ポンプ取付部のシール構造が不適切なため、燃料ポンプ組付時にOリングがねじれることがある。そのため、燃料タンクの内圧変動等によりシール性が損なわれ、最悪の場合、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ポンプ取付部のOリング及び燃料タンクのベセルを対策品に交換する。
