Defect
On vehicles converted to combined natural gas/gasoline (CNG/gasoline) specification, the CNG fuel control program is improperly calibrated. When the vehicle is stationary at idle with the air conditioning active and high electrical loads applied—such as operating the electric power steering—the CNG fuel correction function cannot execute. If the vehicle is then driven away from that state, proper CNG fuel control cannot be maintained and, in the worst case, the engine may stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the CNG fuel control computer with a unit loaded with the corrected/updated software.

状況
天然ガス/ガソリン併用仕様に改造した車両において、③CNG燃料制御プログラムが不適切なため、停車中のアイドリング時に、エアコン作動状態で電動パワーステアリング操作を行うなど、電気を多く消費すると、CNG燃料補正ができない。そのため、その状態から発進すると、適切なCNG燃料制御ができず、最悪の場合、エンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、CNG燃料制御コンピュータを対策プログラムに変更したものに交換する。
