Defect
On hybrid transit buses, the electric clutch actuator that controls clutch engagement was improperly manufactured, resulting in units installed with a deformed internal control circuit board. Repeated thermal expansion and contraction of the CPU terminal solder joints causes cracks to develop at those joints. This causes the warning lamp to illuminate and the system to enter a fail-safe mode, preventing the clutch from engaging or disengaging. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the electric clutch actuator with a corrected part.

状況
ハイブリッド仕様の路線バスにおいて、 ②クラッチの作動を制御するエレクトリッククラッチアクチュエータの製造が不適切なため、内部制御基板が変形して取付けられているものがある。そのため、CPU端子はんだ部の熱膨張・収縮の繰り返しにより、当該はんだ部に亀裂が生じ、警告灯が点灯してフェールセーフモードとなり、クラッチの接断ができなくなり、最悪の場合、走行中エンストして走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、 ②エレクトリッククラッチアクチュエータを対策品に交換する。
