Defect
In the automated 6-speed manual mode transmission, the control program for the clutch actuator is incorrect, causing excessive current to flow through the actuator motor during clutch operation. This overheats the brush holder inside the motor, causing the brush to seize and the clutch to stop operating. As a result, a warning light illuminates, protective control locks the gear in place, and the transmission becomes unable to shift.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the transmission control unit with the corrected software that modifies clutch actuator control. If a fault diagnosis detects a clutch actuator malfunction, replace the clutch actuator with a new one.

状況
自動６速マニュアルモードトランスミッションにおいて、④クラッチ作動用アクチュエータの制御プログラムが不適切なため、クラッチ作動時にクラッチアクチュエータ内のモータに過電流が流れ、モータ内のブラシホルダが過熱してブラシが固着するため、クラッチが作動せず、警告灯が点灯するとともに保護制御によりギヤを固定して、変速できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
④全車両、トランスミッションコントロールユニットをクラッチ作動用アクチュエータの制御を変更した対策プログラムに書き換える。尚、故障診断にてクラッチアクチュエータ異常が検出された場合は、当該クラッチアクチュエータを新品と交換する。
