Defect
On route buses equipped with glide-slide doors, the spring pin securing the bracket — which transmits force from the door's pneumatic cylinder — to the door pivot shaft may develop a crack. Continued operation allows the spring pin to fracture. In the worst case, if both spring pins fracture, the door may open while the vehicle is in motion or the driver may lose the ability to operate the door from the driver's seat.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, as an interim measure, inspect the spring pins and replace any that are displaced or damaged with new parts. A permanent corrected part will be installed once a remedy has been finalized.

状況
路線バスのグライドスライド扉において、扉開閉用エアシリンダーの力を伝えるブラケットと扉を開閉させる回転軸を固定しているスプリングピンに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、スプリングピンが折損し、最悪の場合、スプリングピンが２本ともに折損することで、走行中に扉が開く、または、運転者席からの扉の開閉操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、暫定措置としてスプリングピンを点検し、スプリングピンが抜け出し若しくは損傷があれば新品と交換する。なお、対策が決定次第、恒久対策品と交換する。
