Defect
On transit bus glide-slide doors, the method used to secure the air cylinder bracket to the rotational shaft that opens and closes the door is improperly designed. As a result, cracks develop in the retaining spring pins. Continued operation causes the spring pins to fracture and, in the worst case, both spring pins fracture simultaneously, allowing the door to open while the vehicle is in motion or preventing the driver from operating the door open/close controls.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the retaining pins with corrected parts.

状況
路線バスのグライドスライド扉において、扉開閉用エアシリンダーのブラケットと扉を開閉させる回転軸の固定方法が不適切なため、固定しているスプリングピンに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、スプリングピンが折損し、最悪の場合、スプリングピンが2本ともに折損することで、走行中に扉が開く、または、運転者席からの扉の開閉操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、固定用ピンを対策品に交換する。
