Defect
The front wiper motor is exposed to an inadequate waterproof structure at the front deck. Water travels between the front deck garnish and the windshield glass and enters the motor interior, causing internal corrosion. In the worst case, the wiper motor may cease to operate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the wiper motor will be replaced with a corrected part. Because replacement parts require time to procure, owners will be notified of the defect and vehicles will be remedied in order of age once parts become available.

状況
フロントワイパーモーターにおいて、フロントデッキ部の防水構造が不適切なため、フロントデッキガーニッシュとウインドシールドガラスの間から伝った水がモーター内部に浸入し、モーターの内部が腐食することがある。そのため、最悪の場合、ワイパーモーターが作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ワイパーモーターを対策品と交換する。 なお、交換用部品の準備に時間を要するため、使用者に不具合内容を通知のうえ、交換用部品が準備できた段階で古いものから交換する。
