Defect
The ECU in the brake hydraulic unit contains an improperly designed control program. When the unit's pump motor switches operating modes, the ECU generates electrical noise that interrupts its own control processing. This causes the ASC (Active Stability Control) and ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) functions to temporarily suspend, degrading vehicle stability during the interruption. On vehicles equipped with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), FCM (Forward Collision Mitigation), BAH (Brake Auto Hold), HSA (Hill Start Assist), or S-AWC (Super All-Wheel Control), these functions may also shut down while active.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the brake hydraulic unit ECU with the corrected control program.

状況
ブレーキハイドロリックユニットのＥＣＵにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、ハイドロリックユニットのポンプモーターの制御切り替え時に電気的ノイズが発生し、ＥＣＵの制御が中断されることがある。そのため、ＡＳＣ※１やＡＢＳ※２の機能が一時中断し、その間の車両安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。また、ＡＣＣ※３、ＦＣＭ※４、ＢＡＨ※５、ＨＳＡ※６、Ｓ－ＡＷＣ※７機能付き車は、作動中に機能が停止するおそれがある。 ※１ ＡＳＣ：横滑り防止システム ※２ ＡＢＳ：制動時にタイヤロックを防止するシステム ※３ ＡＣＣ：設定車速を維持すると共に先行車に近づいた場合は減速して車間距離を保つシステム ※４ ＦＣＭ：自動でブレーキをかけて衝突の被害を軽減するシステム ※５ ＢＡＨ：停車後ブレーキペダルを離してもブレーキ力を保持して車両停止状態を保つ機能 ※６ ＨＳＡ：坂道発進の際に車両のずり下がりを抑制する機能 ※７ Ｓ－ＡＷＣ：車両運動統合制御システム
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキハイドロリックユニットのＥＣＵの制御プログラムを対策仕様に書き替える。
