Defect
On front wiper motors, an inadequate water seal design on the front deck allows water to enter the motor interior by traveling between the front deck garnish and the windshield glass, causing internal corrosion. In the worst case, the wiper motor may cease to operate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the wiper motor with the corrected part.

状況
フロントワイパーモーターにおいて、フロントデッキ部の防水構造が不適切なため、フロントデッキガーニッシュとウインドシールドガラスの間から伝った水がモーター内部に浸入し、モーターの内部が腐食することがある。そのため、最悪の場合、ワイパーモーターが作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ワイパーモーターを対策品と交換する。
