Defect
On vehicles equipped with an idling stop function, the idling stop control program is incorrect and may allow the idling stop system to activate even when the battery is degraded. As a result, after the idling stop activates during a stop at a traffic signal or similar situation, the engine may fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the idling stop ECU or engine ECU idling stop control program to the corrected specification.

状況
アイドリングストップ機能付き車において、アイドリングストップ制御プログラムが不適切なため、バッテリーが劣化している状態でもアイドリングストップが作動することがある。そのため、信号などの停車時にアイドリングストップが作動した後に、エンジンが再始動しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アイドリングストップＥＣＵまたはエンジンＥＣＵのアイドリングストップの制御プログラムを対策仕様に書き替える。
