Defect
On vehicles equipped with an idling stop function, the engine ECU control program is incorrect and may prevent the catalytic converter deterioration diagnostic from executing properly. As a result, if the catalytic converter deteriorates, the warning light may not illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine ECU control program to the corrected specification.

状況
アイドリングストップ機能付き車のエンジンＥＣＵにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、触媒劣化診断が適正に実施されないことがある。そのため、触媒が劣化しても警告灯が点灯しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジンＥＣＵの制御プログラムを対策仕様に書き替える。
