Defect
On route buses equipped with a voice-synthesis door open/close warning device, the control program for that device is incorrect. As a result, when the driver activates the rear door switch to the open position during passenger boarding or alighting, the audible warning alert that signals the door is opening may fail to activate.
Corrective action
