Defect

On route buses equipped with a power transmission cut device (a system that prevents power from being transmitted to the drivetrain until the passenger doors are fully closed), the electrical circuits for the power transmission cut device and the door anti-entrapment device monitor the rear door open/closed state independently. When a small foreign object is caught in the rear door, the anti-entrapment device remains active and the door-open warning lamp stays illuminated, but the power transmission cut device may disengage. If the vehicle departs in this condition, the rear door may open while the vehicle is in motion if a passenger interrupts the photoelectric sensor.

Corrective action

Modify the wiring of the electrical circuit that detects the rear door open/closed state on all vehicles.

状況

動力伝達カット装置(乗降口の扉を閉じた後でなければ走行装置に動力を伝達することができない構造)を備えた路線バスにおいて、後扉の開閉状態を検知するための電気回路が動力伝達カット装置用と扉挟み込み防止装置用とで分離しているため、後扉に小さな異物等が挟まった場合、扉挟み込み防止装置が作動可能な状態で扉開き知らせ灯が点灯したまま、動力伝達カット装置が解除することがある。そのため、その状態で発進すると、走行中に乗客が検知器(光電管)を遮った際に扉が開くおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、後扉の開閉状態を検知する電気回路の配線を変更する。
