Defect
In the transmission of hybrid-specification buses, an improper manufacturing process for the ball bearings inside the gear shift unit causes those bearings to fail. Continued operation produces shift malfunctions and, in the worst case, the transmission locks in gear and the vehicle cannot move.
Corrective action
Replace the gear shift unit on all vehicles with a conforming unit.

状況
ハイブリッド仕様バスの変速機において、ギヤシフトユニット内部のボールベアリングの製造工程が不適切なため、当該ベアリングが破損するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると変速不良が発生し、最悪の場合、ギヤが固定し発進出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ギヤシフトユニットを良品に交換する。
