Defect
On large trucks whose fuel system has been converted from diesel to CNG, the material and welding method used for the EGR pipe are incorrect. Vehicle vibration may cause cracks to develop at the EGR pipe flange. If use continues in this condition, the cracks at the EGR pipe flange may propagate, resulting in an exhaust gas leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the EGR pipe with the corrected/revised part.

状況
燃料装置を軽油からCNGに変更した大型トラックにおいて、EGRパイプの材質及び溶接方法が不適切なため、車体振動によりEGRパイプフランジ部に亀裂が生じる事がある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、EGRパイプフランジ部の亀裂が進行して排気漏れが発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、EGRパイプを対策品に交換する。
