Defect
The hydraulic control software in the CVT is incorrect. When the driver performs an abrupt launch by depressing the accelerator almost simultaneously with a shift operation, or turns off the ignition switch while the engine is at high rpm — such as after revving the engine without load — abnormally high hydraulic pressure is generated inside the CVT, placing excessive load on the secondary shaft. Repeated occurrences of these conditions may damage the secondary shaft, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Reprogram the CVT control computer with the corrected hydraulic control software on all vehicles.

状況
CVT(無段変速機)の油圧制御プログラムが不適切なため、シフト操作とほぼ同時にアクセルを踏み込む急な発進操作を行った場合やエンジンを空吹かしする等、高回転状態からイグニッションスイッチを切る操作を行った場合にCVT内に高油圧が発生し、セカンダリシャフトに想定以上の負荷が加わることがある。そのため、そのような操作を繰返すと当該シャフトが破損して、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、CVT制御コンピュータの油圧制御プログラムを変更する。
