Defect
On the front passenger door, water that enters the door interior may reach the end of the door lock cable and freeze inside the cable. After the door is opened in this condition, the door lock cable may fail to return to its original position, preventing the door from closing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the service hole cover and door lock cable with corrected parts, and add a positioning bracket for the service hole cover.

状況
助手席ドアにおいて、ドア内部に入った水がドアロックケーブル端部に到達するものがあり、ドアロックケーブル内に浸入した水が凍結することがある。そのため、その状態でドアを開けたあとドアロックケーブルが戻らず、ドアが閉まらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サービスホールカバーとドアロックケーブルを対策品と交換するとともに、サービスホールカバーの位置決め用ブラケットを追加する。
