Defect
In the electric vacuum pump that supplies negative pressure to the brake booster on electric vehicles, a crack may have formed in the internal vane during the manufacturing process. Continued use in this condition can cause the vane to break, impairing the function of the brake booster and increasing stopping distance.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected electric vacuum pump with a non-defective unit.

状況
電気自動車のブレーキ倍力装置に負圧を供給する電動負圧ポンプにおいて、製造工程で内部のベーンに亀裂が入ったものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ベーンが破損し、ブレーキ倍力装置の機能が損なわれ、制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該電動負圧ポンプを良品と交換する。
