Defect
On CVT and automatic transmission vehicles, the bolts securing the drive plate to the torque converter were not tightened to the specified torque, allowing them to loosen and fall out. This produces abnormal noise. In the worst case, a dislodged bolt may become wedged between the drive plate and the cylinder block, causing the engine to stall and preventing restart.
Corrective action
Inspect the torque on the affected bolts on all vehicles and retighten any loose bolts to the specified torque. Replace any missing bolts with new ones and tighten to the specified torque.

状況
無段変速機(CVT)仕様車及び自動変速機(AT)仕様車において、ドライブプレートとトルクコンバータを締結するボルトの締付力が不足しているため、当該ボルトが緩み、脱落することがある。そのため、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、脱落したボルトがドライブプレートとシリンダブロックの間に噛み込み、エンストして再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボルトの締付トルクを点検し、緩みがあるものは正規トルクで締め付ける。また、当該ボルトが脱落しているものは、新品のボルトに交換し、正規トルクで締め付ける。
