Defect
On LPG tanker truck bodies, the mounting brackets for the fire extinguisher box were improperly bent during the manufacturing process. Driving impacts generate high stress at the bent sections, which may cause cracks to develop. Continued use in this condition may result in the fire extinguisher box detaching together with its mounting bracket.
Corrective action
Inspect all affected vehicles and replace any fire extinguisher box mounting bracket found to have been improperly formed with the corrected part.

状況
LPG運搬用タンクローリ架装車両の消火器箱の取付金具において、製造工程における曲げ加工が不適切なため、走行時の衝撃力により、当該曲げ加工部分に高い応力が発生し亀裂が生じる場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該取付金具とともに消火器箱が脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
対象車両を点検し、加工が不適切な消火器箱の取付金具について、対策品と交換する。
