Issue
On large trucks, inadequate part number management of replacement airbag control units resulted in incorrect airbag control units being shipped. Vehicles fitted with an incorrect airbag control unit may experience delayed crash detection during a collision, preventing the occupant protection system from operating correctly.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the airbag control unit with the correct production part.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、交換修理用エアバッグコンピュータの品番管理が不適切なため、誤ったエアバッグコンピュータを出荷したものがある。そのため、誤ったエアバッグコンピュータを搭載した車両においては、衝突の際に衝突検出が遅れ、乗員保護機能が正常に働かないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアバッグコンピュータを正規品と交換する。
