Defect

In the fuel injection system drive circuit of diesel vehicles, protection against electrical noise is insufficient. Electrical noise generated when the oil pump hydraulic switching valve operates may damage the transistor within the fuel injection drive circuit. This can cause fuel injection to fail, stalling the engine and preventing restart.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, add a noise-suppression diode to the electrical circuit for the oil pump hydraulic switching valve.

状況

ディーゼル車の燃料噴射装置の駆動回路において、電気ノイズに対する保護が不十分なため、オイルポンプ油圧切替えバルブ作動時に発生する電気ノイズの影響により燃料噴射装置の駆動回路内のトランジスタが破損することがある。そのため、燃料噴射ができなくなり、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、オイルポンプ油圧切替えバルブ用電気回路に電気ノイズ防止用のダイオードを追加する。
