Defect
On vehicles fitted with a washer fluid freeze-prevention heater (a dealer-installed option), the O-ring seal on the heater control circuit has insufficient compression, allowing washer fluid to intrude into the control circuit. This can cause the control circuit to melt. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the affected heater.

状況
販売店オプションとして設定しているウォッシャ液凍結防止ヒータが装着された車両において、ヒータ制御回路部の防水用オーリングの締め代が不足しているため、ウォッシャ液が制御回路内に浸入することがある。そのため、制御回路が溶損し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ヒータを取り外す。
