Defect
Aftermarket-installed rear seats have seat frames with insufficient strength. In the event of a collision or similar impact, the seat may not be retained and can detach from the vehicle body, failing to protect occupants.
Corrective action
The following three measures are applied: (1) The seat belt attachment is changed from an integrated seat-mount type to a body-mount type. (2) Two seat tilt-restraint brackets are added at the center of the seat frame to prevent the seat slide rail from detaching during a collision. (3) The bolts and nuts securing the seat frame to the slide rail anchor frame are replaced with corrected parts.

状況
架装にて交換した後部座席において、座席フレームの強度が不足している。そのため、事故等の衝撃により、座席を保持できず、車体から外れてしまい、乗員を安全に保護することができないおそれがある。
改善措置
①座席ベルトを座席内蔵式から車体への取付に変更する。 ②衝突時に座席スライドレール脱落を抑制する座席傾き抑制金具を座席フレーム中央に２ヵ所追加する。 ③座席フレームとスライドレールアンカーフレームを固定しているボルト＆ナットを対策品に交換する。
