Defect
On three-way dump trucks, the joint connecting the dump mechanism to the cargo bed has insufficient strength, allowing the mounting bolts to fracture and the dump mechanism to fall. In the worst case, the falling mechanism may damage the vehicle's ABS wiring and brake pipes, causing the rear wheel braking system to malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the mounting bolts and retaining plate with corrected parts.

状況
三転ダンプ車に装備されているダンプ機構と荷台を連結している部位の強度が不十分なため、固定ボルトが破断し、ダンプ機構が落下する場合がある。そのため、最悪の場合、車両側のＡＢＳ配線及びブレーキ配管を損傷させ、後輪制動装置が正常に作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該固定ボルト及び押さえプレートを対策品に交換する。
