Defect
On large tourist buses, the air conditioning resistor is improperly positioned, causing it to contact the resistor cover. This contact may cause a short circuit between the resistor and the cover, which may result in ignition.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the resistor and the cover. If the clearance is insufficient, notch the cover. If the cover shows heat damage during inspection, replace it with a new part.

状況
大型観光バスの ①エアコン用抵抗器の取付位置が不適切なため、当該抵抗器カバーと接触しているものがある。そのため、カバーと短絡し発火するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、 ①当該抵抗器とカバーの隙間を点検し、隙間が少ない場合は、カバーを切り欠く。また、点検において、カバーが焼損している場合は、カバーを新品に交換する。
