Defect
The manufacturing program for the fuse box is incorrect, causing the blower motor wiring terminal to be installed in reverse orientation in some units. This results in insufficient terminal retention, allowing the terminal to chafe and generate insulating deposits. In the worst case, the defroster may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the fuse box serial number is inspected and, where applicable, a sub-harness is added.

状況
ヒューズボックスの製造プログラムが不適切なため、ブロアモータ配線の端子部を逆向きに組み付けたものがある。そのため、端子の固定が不十分になり端子がこすられて絶縁物質が生成され、最悪の場合、デフロスタが作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ヒューズボックスの製造番号を確認し、該当するものにはサブハーネスを追加する。
